Getting to the Pears Building

Underground, overground and buses.

The nearest underground station to the Pears Building is Belsize Park station on the Northern line. The route from the station to the Pears Building is uphill.

Hampstead Tube underground station (Hampstead High Street) is on the Northern Line, one stop along from Belsize Park.

Hampstead Heath railway station (South End Road, Hampstead) is on the London overground network. The station accepts Oyster cards.

Bus routes 24, 46, 168, 268, & C11 all serve the hospital site.

By car

Pears Building car park

There is car parking at the Pears Building at Level 00 and Level 01. It operates on a first-come first-served basis and there is no reserved parking. Visitors should make their way from the car park to the main reception at the front of the building. There are no pickup and drop off facilities at the Pears Building.

Royal Free Hospital parking

There is a newly rebuilt multi-storey carpark serving patients and visitors to the Royal Free Hospital. It is located at the main entrance of the hospital on Pond Street. The ground floor (level 0) and level 1 are designated for patient and visitor parking.

There is a set-down parking zone immediately outside the hospital main entrance. It is free, but there is a strict no waiting policy in force and you must leave the area within five minutes of arrival.

On street parking

Where available, on-street parking is limited to 2 hours at a time though much of the surrounding area is for parking permit holders only.
