2017 saw Radio Enfield become Royal Free Radio that will continue the 47yr history of broadcasting that Radio Enfield had delivered to hospital patients. Future programmes will include news, information and quizzes as well as bespoke programmes for elderly and dementia patients. There are opportunities to volunteer behind the scenes and to be a radio request collector on the wards.
