London to Brighton Cycle Ride 2024 (15 September)

Sunday 15 September 2024

Join over 4,000 other cyclists and take on this 55 mile challenge from the bustling city to the wonderful seafront .

Take part in the 2024 London to Brighton Cycle Ride on Sunday 15 September 2024 and help make a difference to staff, patients, families, and researchers across the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

Starting in Clapham Common, the 55 mile route passes through picturesque countryside finishing at Brighton seafront.

Through research, innovation, and continued improvements to the patient and staff experience, your support could make a significant different to the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

Cycling for us means that together, we can help the Royal Free London go further and faster than the NHS could do alone.

Last year Rebecca McMahon and her father, Paul (both pictured), completed the challenge along with seven other riders for the Royal Free Charity. She previously worked in the volunteer team, a role that motivated her to fundraise for the charity. Together they raised over £2,000. Rebecca said: “The many conversations I’ve had with people in the hospital who have been recipients of the charity’s services – from massage to music to pet therapy – have only strengthened my belief in their direct impact on health and wellbeing. Get ready to train hard, and to pick up what will become a long-term hobby!”
