Walk for Wards

What better way to spend a Sunday morning than a walk in the park to support your local hospital?
Come and join us for a 5k walk in the beautiful Trent Park, Enfield. This is your opportunity to support the hospital or the ward that may have looked after you or your loved one at The Royal Free, Barnet Hospital or Chase Farm Hospital.
Or you may just want to get fitter... Whatever your reason we would love you to sign up and join us in the beautiful grounds of Trent Park for our very first Walk for Wards. Why not bring your family and friends too or a picnic to share after your walk?

Venue: Trent Park country Park Cockfosters Rd, Enfield, EN4 0PS
(Nearest tube station Cockfosters- 10 min walk to start point)
Time: Registration from 10.00am Start 11.00am
Registration fee: £5 per adult (includes free T-shirt) max 2 children free per adult
Minimum fundraising target: £25 per adult / £50 per family
To sign up, use the 'book tickets' form below. You will receive an email within 3 days with futher details.
Whichever ward, unit or hospital you chose to support your fundraising will make a direct difference to patients. For example:
- £5 provides a personal care pack for those admitted though A&E with nothing with them
- £25 provides a massage therapy treatment for a patient to help reduce stress and anxiety.
- £50 provides distraction toys to help younger patients while having procedures.
- £100 helps provide memory stimulation activities for dementia patients.
- £200 provides a TV for a ward.
Each ward has its own special requirements to make the patient's stay the best it can be.
Once you have registerd we have everything you need to set up your online fundraising page. You can add a photo and write your story saying why you are doing the walk and the hospital or ward you have chosen to support. This page can then be shared with all your friends and family.
Don't forget the minimum fundraising target is £25 per adult or £50 per family and it all goes to the hospital or ward you specify.
