Our high street charity shops sell a fantastic range of high quality donated items including clothing, shoes, fashion accessories, homeware, toys, books and an amazing array of other treasures all at bargain prices.
We have five charity shops: in Enfield, Borehamwood, Potters Bar, Southgate and East Barnet. All profits generated by the shops go towards funding the services we provide to patients and visitors at our hospitals. So whether you donate items for us to sale, look for a bargain or volunteer your time at one of our shops, your support helps your local hospital and their patients and visitors.

Making a donation
We accept clothing, shoes, accessories, jewellery, books, toys, household items and bric-a-brac. Pretty much anything except large pieces of furniture or large electrical items. Unfortunately we are not able to collect but you can bring your donations to any shop during opening hours or to charity office at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead. For the shops, just turn up or call in advance if you would like to drop items off at the rear of any shop where our staff and volunteers will help you. At the Royal Free, 9.00-5.00 Monday to Friday.
If you are a UK tax payer please complete a Gift Aid declaration form. This increases the value of your donation at no additional cost to you. Download the form or fill one in at the store. This only needs to be done once, and if you donate again you just need to provide your surname and postcode. However, if your details change please let us know.
We welcome volunteers from the age of 14 upwards who are able to commit to a minimum of 4 hours (one shift) a week. There are a variety of roles available including working on the till, helping to sort bags of donated goods or steaming and labeling clothes. Maybe you have a creative flair and want to help with store presentation or window dressing, or even help promote sales through social media?
For more details about volunteering in one of our shops and how to apply, please telephone your nearest store directly or pop in and ask to speak to the manager or assistant manager.
