The new Chase Farm Hospital is the first all-digital hospital in the UK and has a growing team of volunteers who do all they can to improve the experience of patients and visitors to the hospital.
To volunteer at Chase Farm please email Millie or call 020 8375 1349
We are currently recruiting for Clinic host volunteers to support the staff and patients in the upstairs outpatients department. This area of the hospital often gets very busy and we’d like to have a friendly team of volunteers to help direct and support patients and visitors.
If you are friendly and adaptable, able to think and act quickly and work well as part of a team then please get in touch. Contact Millie at the Chase Farm Volunteers office on 0208 375 1349 or email
Volunteer with your therapy dog
Pets are known to help reduce stress, anxiety and help with loneliness and depression. We are delighted to have a partnership with Pets as Therapy and Therapaws who specially check all dogs for their suitability and temperament for the hospital environment. Therapy dogs make regular visits to the children’s ward and elderly wards. The dogs often help long term patients relax and chat about their own pets and help them feel that they are in a more normal, homely environment.
We are looking for volunteers who play a musical instrument to come and play to help brighten up the day of patients and visitors around the hospital. This may be on a ward, or in a busy waiting area. This could be a regular commitment but could equally be a one off. Either way we would love to hear from you.
If you are interested in becoming a fundraising volunteer and supporting the hospital please contact Lumi our community fundraiser.
