Volunteers from Barnet Hospital and Chase Farm celebrating at an awards evening in December 2019

Celebrating the work of volunteers at Barnet Hospital & Chase Farm

On 5 December over 130 staff and volunteers from Barnet Hospital & Chase Farm came together at the Noke Hotel St Albans to celebrate the work and commitment of our fabulous team of volunteers.

We were treated to a delicious three course meal, live music from the Sound of the Suburb and were entertained with tricks and sleight of hand from the tableside magician. Natalie Forrest, Chief Executive of Chase Farm Hospital and Deborah Sanders, Interim Chief Executive at Barnet Hospital gave speeches thanking the volunteers for their contributions to the hospital. They presented the long service awards to all who have volunteered for a year, followed by awards for those who have been with us for 5, 10, 15, 20 and even in the case of Andy Higgins from Chase Farm Radio – 40 years.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and helped to make the evening a success.
